Thanksgiving Thursday + More Photos
It's been less than a week but there's already so much to be thankful for!
- This week, we've truly witnessed the beauty of child-like faith. It has been amazing to witness how each child has their own unique personality and how God has created each of them so wonderfully. Some of the kids had never heard of Jesus before, yet they were so eager to learn and open to receiving His love.
- Although very loud, the kids are very well behaved. I was really touched when I learned that one of the students didn't want to eat the snack that she got because she wanted to save it for her Grandma. What a good example of God's sacrificial love for us.
- It has been incredible to see how God has gifted us with the ability to connect and communicate with these children across a language barrier. Even though our Chinese may not always be perfect, God continues to work in amazing ways. He uses our efforts, our words, and our relationships to make His love known.
- PDavid and PBC are so warm, generous and inviting. We got to try Taiwanese mango that PDavid brought— it was AMAZING! We've felt so welcomed by them. The people in the church have already served us so well. There's a church brother and his daughter in the church that makes food everyday for us and the kids.
- We're blessed to have enough food to eat everyday. We've really enjoyed Taiwanese food!
- We were able to meet up with Uncle Qiao Yuan and hear about him and his family's experience serving in Taipei. God is doing so many amazing things!
- So many cool encounters with locals and the ability to share the gospel. The locals here are so warm and welcoming.
- For AC (explanation unnecessary)
- A fun team that consists of so many fun personalities and skills. This is such a good reminder of how Jesus tells us how each body part has a unique purpose. God gifts us different gifts so that we can serve each other in different ways
- For able bodies that can be used to serve and glorify God
